The maxi skirt, the Roman way
A skirt asks the same question a gown does — where the line falls, and how the fabric moves — answered from the waist down. The house cuts its skirts long and fluid: a high-waisted bias fishtail in liquid satin, a draped modal column split high at both thighs, and a floral-lace A-line that floats over the leg. Each is a true separate, made to be paired with your own knit, camisole or tailored top.
Because the proportion lives below the waist, fabric and cut do the work: liquid acetate satin for evening, matte modal for movement, and embroidered lace over chiffon for daytime occasions — all in the imperial palette, fully finished and built to be returned to.
Styling the maxi skirt
For evening, tuck a fine silk camisole or a slim knit and let the satin carry the look; for daytime, a structured tee or poplin shirt keeps a lace or modal skirt easy. A higher heel lengthens the line under a maxi; a flat sandal takes it to the coast.
