Aemilia is the dress for the unhurried part of summer: the long lunch that drifts into evening, the ceremony held under an open sky, the walk back along warm stone after the light has gone gold. Cut in floral-embroidered lace chiffon, it carries the softness of a heirloom without the weight of one.
A sleeveless scoop bodice is gathered into a shirred elastic waist, then released into a tiered A-line skirt that sweeps to the floor. The result moves with you — never stiff, never fussy — the way the best occasion dresses always have.

The whole dress is built around its lace: delicate tonal flowers embroidered across panels of sheer chiffon, layered so the pattern deepens toward the gathered tiers and finishes in a scalloped border at the hem. What she said after wearing it
The embroidered florals catch the light without a hint of sparkle, which is precisely what I wanted. Sleeveless and floor-length, it skimmed my frame and the shirred waist sat exactly where it should. I felt softly dressed, never costumed.
So many ivories veer yellow or stark white. This one is warm and creamy in daylight, almost candlelit indoors. The scalloped tiers gave the skirt real movement on the lawn.
Could not have chosen better. The lace bodice is fully lined so nothing felt exposed, and the A-line glided when I walked between tables. My mother teared up before the starters arrived.
I hover right between a medium and a large, so I took the larger for a softer, more relaxed line through the skirt, and it drapes dreamily. If you prefer the bodice closer to the body, go down instead. The lace and that floaty ivory chiffon are everything I hoped for either way.
Floor-length lace usually drags, but this chiffon floats. Barely felt it on.
What sold me was the finishing along each tier of the skirt. Those little scalloped lace borders are stitched, not glued or cut raw, and they ripple beautifully with every step. Detail like this is rare under four hundred dollars.
My checkout seemed to stall so I submitted again, not realising the first had gone through, and a pair of these landed on my doorstep. Entirely my own muddle. The dress itself is lovely, the lace delicate and the ivory soft, and the team helped me send the spare back. Marking middling only because of my own double-tap, not the gown.
