The column, brought to full length

The maxi is where the house's debt to classical dress is clearest — the fluted vertical of the Roman column, the unbroken line from shoulder to floor. It is the most commanding length and the most forgiving, skimming the body rather than tracing it, and it photographs with an authority shorter lengths can't reach.

These run from fluid draped jersey and modal columns to knife-pleated chiffon and high-waisted fishtail satin. Choose a deeper tone — Porpora, Basalt, Cobalto — for evening and black-tie; a warm neutral or Verde Antico for a summer or destination occasion.

Length & heel

A maxi is cut to graze the floor over a heel; we list each model's height so you can read the hem against your own. If you wear flats, most styles take a small hem adjustment beautifully. All are fully lined with a concealed zip.
