Conceived by Hugo Caesar Tassi as the leather heart of the Iulia edit, the Tivoli takes the humble market basket and reads it in full top-grain cowhide — a roomy, soft-structured bucket that slouches gracefully as it fills and stands tall when packed.
A single rolled shoulder strap sits close under the arm, a slim gold drawstring toggle gathers the mouth, and a small leather hangtag swings at the side. Discreet gold-tone feet lift the base from the floor — the quiet details of a bag built to be kept, not replaced with the season.
Each Tivoli is cut from top-grain cowhide with its natural pebbled grain left intact — a hide chosen to soften with handling and only look the better for it.
The leather is full and supple rather than stiff, so the bucket relaxes into a soft slouch over time while the gold hardware and toggle hold their line. A lined interior with an open pocket keeps the essentials close to hand.

Roomy without slouching into a shapeless heap. The top-grain leather has a proper structure to it, so it stands up on the floor of the café while I fish for my keys. Tan, and it has only got better with a fortnight of use.
Bought the Cuoio and it genuinely does carry a whole day. I throw in a flat shoe swap, a book, sunglasses, a water bottle, and it never gapes or strains.
This comes in one size, so my note is purely about how I wear it. I like a slouchier carry, so I keep it loosely packed and let the cowhide drape soft against me rather than filling it out to a firm basket. If you prefer it standing crisp and structured, just pack it fuller. The leather and the colour, Cuoio, are lovely either way, and it really does see me from morning errands through to evening.
Entirely my own muddle. The checkout seemed to stall so I tried again, not realising both had gone through, and a pair of Basalt buckets landed on my doorstep. The bag itself is gorgeous, structured cowhide, lovely deep black, exactly the everyday carry I wanted. Sorting out the duplicate took a couple of emails. Knocking marks only for the faff of my own double-tap, not the lovely bag.

What sold me is that it's soft-structured rather than rigid, so it moulds against the hip when you walk yet keeps that basket form. The leather smells wonderful too, properly tanned.
In daylight the Basalt reads as a true charcoal-black with no blue or grey cast, which is rare. The leather catches a little light along the seams. Quietly elegant against everything I own.
The piece itself I adore, soft-structured cowhide, the warm Cuoio tan, a proper carry-everything bucket. Sadly the first parcel had clearly been thrown about; the box was crushed and the leather scuffed on arrival. The atelier sent a fresh one without fuss and that second bag is flawless. My low score is about the courier's handling of round one, nothing else.
