The print is built from clean colour-blocked panels — a vivid vermilion red, a soft blush, a deep olive and a warm camel — divided by fine ivory lines and framed in a slim navy border. A single hand-drawn heart sits quietly in the corner, the house signature carried at small scale.

Nothing wrong with the piece at all, this is entirely about my own eye. On my screen I read the Vermiglio as a cooler crimson, but in natural light it leans warm and orange-red, which simply isn't a tone that flatters me. The silk is beautiful and the geometric print with the navy edge is beautifully made, it's just the wrong red for my colouring. A taste thing, plainly mine.
