The soft two-handle leather handbag is cut from fluid satin with a quiet, candle-lit sheen, fully lined so it reads opaque in daylight and flash alike.

Hugo Caesar Tassi shaped Lanuvina for the Iulia collection — a rounded two-handle bag that slouches gently and holds far more than it looks.

The body is built in fine pebble-grain cowhide, soft enough to ease against the arm yet panelled to keep a full, rounded shape. Twin rolled handles stand high for an easy hand-carry; a single zip runs the length of the opening, and two short leather tabs descend from the handles to meet at a small polished turn-lock at the centre front.

A long, thin adjustable strap clips on when both hands are needed, turning the bag into an easy shoulder or crossbody carry. Protective metal feet keep the base off the table. It is quiet and useful — old-money in the plainest, most considered way.

Pebble-grain hide, two tones

A supple first-layer cowhide chosen for its grain and structure, offered in two natural leather tones with polished silver hardware.
