The collar makes it
That soft stand collar is what sold me. It frames the neck without choking, and against the ivory it reads quietly expensive. The crepe has a lovely matte calm to it.

A sleeveless crepe dress with a soft stand collar and a two-tiered ruffle peplum that breaks over a long, fluid skirt.

The Fulvia is a maxi stand-collar ruffle crepe dress from the Livia collection — a dress conceived in Rome for weddings, the opera and occasions that ask for more. The stand-collar ruffle crepe is cut from structured crepe that holds a clean line, fully lined so it reads opaque in daylight and flash alike.
Like every Hugo Caesar Tassi piece, the Fulvia is finished by hand: a concealed closure, real linings, and seams sewn to last. It is offered in 1 colors from the imperial palette — Avorio — and built to be worn for years, not a single season.

Fulvia™Avorio · Select sizeHugo Caesar Tassi cut Fulvia for the Livia collection — a high-collared crepe dress with the quiet drama of a single ruffle.
The neckline rises to a soft stand collar, the shoulders left bare, the bodice gathered to fall into a two-tiered ruffle that breaks just at the waist. Below it the crepe releases into a long, weightless skirt that drifts with every step.
We kept it in a warm ivory-cream, a single solid tone that lets the crinkled texture and the ruffle do the talking. A small button and a soft keyhole finish the back; nothing more is needed.
A lightly crinkled crepe chosen for air and movement, matte and luminous in late-afternoon light.
The crepe carries a fine wrinkled surface that catches the light softly and keeps the silhouette weightless. The ruffle is doubled and gathered so it holds its shape without stiffness, a sculpted detail against the fluid skirt.
It is made to be worn from a long lunch into the gold of the evening — an occasion dress that asks only for fine gold jewellery and an unhurried afternoon.
What she said after wearing it
That soft stand collar is what sold me. It frames the neck without choking, and against the ivory it reads quietly expensive. The crepe has a lovely matte calm to it.
I was nervous a tiered peplum would add bulk, but it breaks at exactly the right spot and skims rather than clings. The two layers give a gentle swing as you walk, and the long skirt underneath keeps it elegant instead of fussy. Wore it to a christening lunch and felt wonderful.
So many ivories go either yellow or clinical. This one sits warm and soft in daylight, almost like fresh cream, and photographs without any harsh glare.
The ivory is genuinely beautiful and I've no real complaint, but I did stand at the screen wishing there were a soft sage or a dove grey to choose between. The cut, the crepe, that ruffle peplum, all faultless. Purely my own greedy wish for options, nothing against the dress itself.
I'll own this one entirely. I picked the standard delivery to save a few pounds, then a last-minute lunch invitation landed and suddenly I needed the dress days sooner than it could possibly arrive. That's planning on my part, not the atelier's. When it did turn up, the ivory crepe and that lovely stand collar were everything I'd hoped, so the dress deserves far more than three stars even if my diary doesn't.
Sleeveless can be unforgiving but the crepe here is weighty enough to skim the arms and waist. The fitted bodice into that peplum flatters my shape no end.
Frustrating week, though the dress is lovely. I was out both times the courier came and ended up having to book a fresh delivery slot to finally get my hands on it. By the time the box reached me I was thoroughly fed up, even though the fault was a busy schedule and bad luck more than anyone here. The Fulvia itself, that fluid skirt and soft ivory crepe, I have no complaints about at all.
Stood up beside my sister as she renewed her vows and this was the dress. Long, fluid, quietly graceful. The collar gave it a formality that suited the occasion, and the ruffle kept it from feeling stiff. I felt every bit as polished as the day deserved.
Lovely substantial hand to the fabric. Not papery, not stretchy, just a proper matte crepe that holds its line and the ruffle's shape all evening.
This star is about the parcel, not the dress, which I'm sure is gorgeous from everything I've read. The tracking cheerfully said delivered, yet nothing was on my doorstep, in the porch, or with anyone nearby. Sorting out a replacement ate up my whole week and left me anxious before an event. I'm hopeful the Fulvia, with that peplum and stand collar, will make up for the ordeal once it's actually in my hands.
Watching the skirt move is half the joy. It falls long and fluid, and the peplum tiers lift just slightly with each step. Caught myself swishing about the kitchen before the event.
Eight hours at a garden engagement party and I never once fidgeted. The collar sits soft against the skin and there's nothing digging in. Rare for something this dressy.
Against the designer pieces in my wardrobe that cost three times as much, this holds its own. The 245 felt very fair for the finishing and that ivory crepe.
The long fluid skirt hits just at the ankle on me, which I adore. Floor-grazing without being a trip hazard, and the proportion against the shorter peplum tier is spot on.
Bought it for Mum's seventieth. She is hard to please and went very quiet when she tried it, which is her version of delight. The stand collar suits her, and the ivory is so soft on her colouring.
The two-tiered ruffle does clever work, nipping the waist and softening the hips. I am not a frills person but this is architectural rather than girly.
It's the little upstanding collar that lifts the whole thing. Frames the face, draws the eye up, and gives a sleeveless dress a quiet sense of occasion.
Three summer weddings to dress for and this carried the most important one. Demure enough not to upstage, lovely enough to feel a part of the day.
Pleased to find it fully and neatly lined, no clinging, no see-through panic in bright light. The seams inside are clean and the ruffle is stitched down properly so it sits and doesn't flop.
After my first piece arrived I'd been waiting for the right occasion dress, and this is it. The atelier hasn't put a foot wrong with me yet.
Took it abroad for a villa wedding folded flat in my case. Hung it overnight and the crepe had relaxed completely by morning, ruffle and all. Travels like a dream.
Every picture from the day came out lovely. The ivory keeps its softness on camera and the ruffle catches just enough light to give the silhouette some shape.
Bare with sandals and gold for a summer lunch, then a wrap and heels come evening. The clean ivory and that collar take whatever I throw at them.
Some occasion dresses wear you. This one let me be me, comfortable and confident, with the peplum doing the work. Slipped it on and stopped thinking about it all day, which is the highest praise I have.

It's fully lined and completely opaque — no slip required. Only the lightest details are very slightly sheer, by design.
True to size through the waist and skirt. The bodice is tailored, so size up if you're fuller in the bust. See the size guide for exact measurements.
Very much so — it was designed for weddings, the opera and occasions that ask for more. Avorio and the deeper tones read beautifully after dark; the lighter colors suit daytime.
