What sold me is how little it tries. The crystals on the T-bar catch a glimmer when I move and then go quiet again. No flash, just a beautifully made black patent sandal that lets the dress speak.
The quiet sparkle
Hugo Caesar Tassi drew Sabella for the Livia collection — a fine evening sandal that keeps its jewellery to a whisper.
The shoe is almost all line: one thin strap across the toes, a slender T-bar running up the centre of the foot, and a fine ankle strap closing on a small buckle. Down that centre line sit a few clear crystals in delicate claw settings — enough to catch the light when you move, never enough to take over.
Everything else is pared back to glossy black patent and a tall, needle-slim stiletto. It is built to read as an elegant sandal first and a jewelled one second.
Patent, with a stone or two
A glossy patent finish chosen for depth and shine, set against a handful of clear crystals.
The patent straps hold a wet, lacquered shine that reads pure black in low afternoon light and lifts to a soft highlight under a brighter beam. Against it, the clear marquise stones sit flush and restrained — a fine evening accent rather than a crystal shoe.
Sabella is offered in Basalt — the deep black the straps are cut from — with Avorio as a pale alternative for paler dressing.
