Cut from the Capitoline light

The Capitolina takes its name from the hill where Rome kept its temples and its treasury — the place the city went to be seen at its best. Our atelier reads that idea in leather: a warm Travertine body, the color of the stone the Forum was built from, crossed by a single contrasting strap-tab in pale Avorio. It is color-blocking in the Roman manner — restrained, architectural, never loud.
The silhouette is deliberately small and squared, a structured flap closing over a clean front panel. A polished gold stud anchors the tab, and from it falls a slender gold-and-pearl charm that catches the light as you move. Nothing is ornamental for its own sake; every line earns its place.

A purse-sized companion for the long Roman afternoon.
Inside, the Capitolina holds the essentials of a day spent walking marble floors — phone, cards, a lipstick, a key. The slim leather strap adjusts to sit high on the hip or drop to a relaxed crossbody length, and lifts away cleanly when you want to carry it by hand.
Finished in smooth full-grain leather that softens and deepens with wear, it is the kind of small bag that quietly outlives a season. Offered in sunlit Travertine and a deep, near-black Basalt, it slips as easily over a linen suit at midday as it does over silk at dusk.
