Let me say first that the Cobalto is a stunning blue and the slip hangs beautifully. The trouble was entirely my own timing. We completed our house move in the middle of the order, so I had to switch the delivery to our new place at the last minute, and the handover between the two addresses turned into a real muddle that left the parcel bouncing around for ages. None of that is the atelier's doing, and the dress is genuinely beautiful, but the experience getting it here was stressful.

I have only myself to blame here. I hovered between two sizes for days and talked myself into the smaller one, which was the wrong call, so it sits closer than this relaxed slip is meant to. The dress is honestly beautiful, the Basalt is a rich deep charcoal and the crepe and ruffle are lovely, and I can already tell the correct size would have been perfect.
