Fine vertical pleats run the length of the body, gathered at a high waist where a soft self-tie bow belt knots at the front. Below, the skirt falls in tiers of pleated ruffle flounces, each catching the light a little differently as she moves, all the way to a maxi hem.
A round neck and long pleated sleeves keep the line clean and covered. It pulls on overhead with no fastening to fuss with — the belt alone shapes the waist.
A fine micro-pleated crepe with a spandex blend, chosen for the way it springs back, moves with the body and holds its pleats.
The pleated spandex-blend crepe has a soft, elastic hand — it travels well, packs without creasing and skims the figure rather than gripping it. The tiered ruffles give the long column its movement and a quietly festive rhythm.
